We took a walk in the garden and this is what we saw....

The Science Specialist is showing us a tent worm house in the tree.

DCP_0004.jpgThis is a bog, which is different than a pond.

DCP_0005.jpgThe birds and butterflies love these flowers.

This is a rock.  There are lots of rocks in the garden.

These are elephant ears.  We can't believe how big they are.

DCP_0016.jpgThis is the bell.  We love to ring it.

The first part of the trip we
had to sit and listen to the tour guides.

We used our eyes to see nature all around us.

DCP_4.jpg We are happy to be on our first field trip!

We loved all the art in the garden, but especially the pink pig.

This is the home of Paul Greene, a famous North Carolina writer.   We heard a story inside.
